  Kitchener in Bloom Celebration Event

Thank you to all the gardeners who help make our city a greener, more vibrant or more sustainable place to live. Stay tuned for details on Kitchener in Bloom's celebration event for 2026.

Types of gardens

We celebrate all types of gardening, including balcony gardens, community gardens, container gardens, fairy gardens, flower gardens, pollinator patches, rain gardens, raised gardens or rock gardens.

Garden finder map

Check out our garden finder map for gardening inspiration or to find greenspaces in your neighbourhood to add to your next walk or bike ride.

If you were recognized by Kitchener in Bloom or you want to share your garden, public garden or greenspace be sure to add it to our map. Include a picture and description to make the map even better.

Adding a garden to our garden finder map is not a Kitchener in Bloom recognition. Find recognition information above.

Virtual classes

We previously hosted a series of virtual gardening classes on Facebook. In these classes, gardening experts shared tips for preparing your garden, cooking what you grow and more.
