The Kitchener Golf Academy teaches fundamental golf skills in putting, chipping, and pitching, as well as the full swing Golf Academy programs include lessons, clinics and camps for all ages and abilities.

Golf lessons

All of our lessons are taught by PGA of Canada-certified teaching professionals. Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable and fun environment where students can learn and excel at the game. Lessons are available 7 days a week at various times.

An opportunity for your instructor to understand the strengths and weaknesses you display while playing the game. This valuable information is then used to formulate a strategy to help improve your ability to navigate the golf course successfully.


Adult Clinics & Clubs

Our clinics & clubs are a fun place to learn and improve your game. These formats are also a great opportunity to meet new people. We offer a variety of adult programs for those looking for a tune-up or a season of fun. No equipment or experience necessary.

Topics covered include putting, chipping, setup, fundamentals and the swing. Each package includes five consecutive lessons, each lasting one hour.

Clinics will run for 5 consecutive weeks, starting on the following dates:

The goal of this program is for the student to learn various aspects of the game, including etiquette, to gain competence and confidence, leading up to comfortable play with friends and family. No equipment or experience necessary.

Junior Clinics & Clubs

The Kitchener Golf Academy is excited to offer an introductory clinic for children ages 4 to 7, in alignment with the Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) pathway established by Golf Canada. 

In a fun and engaging learning environment, your child will have the opportunity to learn to swing a golf club, chip, and putt, all while making friends and having fun. This exceptional program spans five consecutive weeks and wraps up with a fun tournament that includes parents and family members. Each lesson lasts for 50 minutes and is limited to 16 junior golfers. No equipment is necessary to participate.

  • Saturday, May 2 - 10 a.m.
  • Wednesday, May 6 - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, May 8 - 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 10 - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, June 12 - 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 13 - 10 a.m.

Following the Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) pathway outlined by Golf Canada, the Kitchener Golf Academy is pleased to offer learn-to-play clinics that will focus on developing all fundamental movement and sports skills. Recommended for ages 8 to 12.

The key concepts covered in this program include grip, stance, alignment, swing, putting, and chipping. Participants will also learn about rules, etiquette, and scoring, all of which will be practiced on our 9-hole pitch-and-putt course. This exceptional program lasts for 5 consecutive weeks and concludes with a fun tournament that involves parents and family members. Each lesson is 50 minutes long and has a maximum of 16 junior golfers. No equipment is necessary for participation.

  • Wednesday, May 5 - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, May 8 - 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 9 - 5 p.m.
  • Friday, June 12 - 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 13 - 11 a.m.

The goal of this program is for the student to learn various aspects of the game, including etiquette, to gain competence and confidence, leading to playing in an unsupervised group.

Saturdays at 2 p.m.

May 9 to September 19

Recommended for ages 7+ or those with good golf skills and comprehension.

  • Intramural team competitions
  • Schedule distributed at the beginning of the season

Once your child has been introduced to golf through one of our junior clinics, or if they have been playing consistently for at least one year, the Bantam Golf Club is the next step for them. Each lesson runs for 50 minutes from the start time. No equipment necessary.

Saturday mornings at 9 am

June 13 to August 15

  • Recommended for ages 4 to 8
  • 10-week program
  • group lessons
  • on-course learning

The goal of this program is for the student to learn various aspects of the game, including etiquette, to gain competence and confidence, leading to playing in an unsupervised group. No experience or equipment required.

Mondays at 5 p.m.

Runs May 11 to September 21

Junior Camps

Join us for a fun-filled week of golf, sports, games, competition, prizes and adventure. No experience or equipment required.
