Volunteer to help

Our outdoor winter rinks rely on community volunteers. Each rink needs a Rink Coordinator, who serves as the main contact and lead volunteer for the rink, as well as General Volunteers who help support rink operations throughout the season.

Whether you're ready to volunteer or would like to learn more about the available roles, explore the opportunities below and apply today.

The new rink locations are:

Neighbourhood rinks

Outdoor winter rinks are made possible through the efforts of volunteers and City staff who work together throughout the winter season to prepare, maintain, and operate rink locations across Kitchener.
