We offer programs for individuals of all ages, interests and abilities. We encourage anyone who needs an accommodation to request inclusion support. We also offer specialized programs for those with a disability and their family, friends and support workers.

You can register for city programs:
- online using ActiveNet
- in person at a community centre or indoor pool
- by phone at 519-741-2907 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
If you or your child has a disability and needs support to join any City of Kitchener program, you can apply for an inclusion membership. Those with an inclusion membership can access 1:1 program support at no extra cost.
Golf lessons
Learn to play golf at Doon Valley Golf Course on Thursday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m., between June 23 and August 11, 2022. Time will be spent on the putting and driving range and the pitch n' putt course to work on basic skills. There will be opportunity to play a few holes on the regulation size course. For ages 12 years and up.
An inclusion membership is required for registration in this program.
All About YOUth summer camp
Our accessible summer camp for youth ages 13-17 always include fun activities like:
- sports
- crafts
- games
To sign up for specialized camps, you need to have an inclusion membership. You do not need to register for inclusion support for specialized camps.
YOUth Sense
Youth will build friendships and gain confidence while strengthening recreation and social skills. Activities will build on participants’ health, wellness and life skills in a safe and supported environment.
Trained inclusion support staff deliver this program. Staff will make sure everyone’s unique needs are met and interests are included. Siblings and friends are welcome.
