Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Saturday: 9 a.m. to noon 

Sunday: closed 

All community centres will be closed on Monday, October 14.

Book a community room to host your next book club or neighbourhood project meeting! Multi-purpose rooms at city facilities can be reserved for free, for up to two hours and as far as 30 days in advance.

Partner programs

The Strong Start Get Ready for School program is for children ages 3 to 4 years old and runs from January or February to June, just before their start in year one of Kindergarten. The program focuses on helping children develop essential early literacy skills. The emphasis on increasing vocabulary, letter-sound knowledge and classroom learning behaviours are all essential building blocks for children as they prepare to enter their formal school experience. There are two gender-neutral washrooms off the lobby of Williamsburg Community Centre. Both washrooms are accessible and have change tables.

Printing services are available when the centre is open.

  • cost: the first 10 pages are free, each additional page costs 10 cents

Print by email

Follow these steps to print by email:

  1. open your email
  2. send or forward an email to WilliamsburgCCPrint@Kitchener.ca, including this information:
    • your full name in the subject line
    • file(s) attached to the email
  3. go to the community centre during business hours
  4. when you get to the community centre, go to the front desk and ask for your printing

Print online

Follow these steps to print online:

  1. on your device, find the file you want to print
  2. go to the Williamsburg Community Centre printing portal
  3. under "Printer", choose the printer
  4. under "User Info", enter your email address
  5. under "Select Document", upload the file you want to print
    • if you want to print more than one document, go through this process for each document
  6. click the grey forward button to continue
  7. on the next page, change the page orientation if you need to
  8. click the green printer button
  9. go to the community centre during business hours
  10. when you get to the community centre, go to the front desk and ask for your printing

Rentals

You can rent rooms at Williamsburg Community Centre for meetings or events. Room rates are per hour and include HST. Capacities include chairs only. If tables are required, the capacity will be less.

  • room one – seating capacity 30 people - $30.77 per hour, including HST
  • room two – seating capacity 30 people - $30.77 per hour, including HST
  • rooms one and two – seating capacity 55 people - $51.17 per hour, including HST

Note that when booked after business hours a three hour minimum rental is required and additional staff charges will apply.

Depending on the nature of your event other rental costs can include:

  • Resound and SOCAN fees
  • insurance
  • licensing
