Registration for summer 2024 city-run programs at our community centres and summer camps is open now.

You can book 45 minutes of open gym time for up to 10 people (including yourself). This program is free.

Book a community room to host your next book club or neighbourhood project meeting! Multi-purpose rooms at city facilities can be reserved for free, for up to two hours and as far as 30 days in advance.

Leisure Access

Neighbourhood associations
Four neighbourhood associations support the area around Victoria Hills Community Centre:
- Victoria Hills Neighbourhood Association (VHNA)
- Cherry Park Neighbourhood Association (CPNA)
- Westmount Neighbourhood Association (WNA)
- Greenbelt Neighbourhood Association (GNA)
VHNA and CPNA offer programs at Victoria Hills Community Centre, check your copy of Active Kitchener for details. WNA and GNA offer special events at the centre.
Gym
Victoria Hills Community Centre does not have open gym time or workout equipment. Register for one of our programs to get active at the centre.
Park
Gzowski Park has:
- a playground
- a baseball diamond that is available to rent
- outdoor ice rink
Washrooms
These washrooms are available at Victoria Hills Community Centre:
- gender-neutral washroom to the left of the front office
- men’s and women’s washrooms in the main hallway
- men’s and women’s washrooms by gym C/D
The gender-neutral washroom and washrooms by gym C/D are accessible and have change tables.

Public access computers are available in the lobby when the centre is open.
Free public Wi-Fi
Use your own phone, tablet or computer with our free Wi-Fi. Choose the “Kitchener Public WiFi” network and follow the instructions that show up.

Printing services are available when the centre is open.

Rentals
You can rent rooms at Victoria Hills Community Centre for meetings or events. Room rates are per hour and include HST. Capacities include chairs only. If tables are required, the capacity will be less.
- room one – seating capacity 20 people - $21.58 per hour each, including HST
- room two – seating capacity 20 people - $21.58 per hour each, including HST
- room three – seating capacity 40 people - $30.77 per hour each, including HST
- multipurpose room A (single gym) – seating capacity 150 people - $60.03 per hour, including HST
- multipurpose room B (dance room) – seating capacity 60 people - $42.73 per hour, including HST
- multipurpose room C (single gym) – seating capacity 150 people - $60.03 per hour, including HST
- multipurpose room D (single gym) – seating capacity 150 people - $60.03 per hour, including HST
- multipurpose room C and D (double gym) – seating capacity 350 people - $85.43 per hour, including HST
- kitchen (cooking) – capacity 6 people - $32.75 per hour, including HST
Note that when booked after business hours a three hour minimum rental is required and additional staff charges will apply.

Rockway Centre redevelopment
We’re redeveloping Rockway Centre, and we want your input! If you’re over 45 years old or an older adult, share your thoughts on the programs, services and features you’d like to see in the new older adult facility.
