Our mobile skatepark (skatium) travels around Kitchener each summer. The skatepark is also available for rentals.

Indoor drop-in skatepark
This winter, we're bringing the mobile skatepark indoors!
- dates: Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays
- location: Queensmount Arena (1200 Queen's Boulevard)
- age: 8 and over
- cost: $2 for weekdays, $5 for Saturdays
Monday
- dates: Mondays between January 16 and March 6 (except for February 20)
- time: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- cost: $2 per person
Thursday
- dates: Thursdays between December 15 and March 9 (except for January 5 and 12)
- time: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- cost: $2 per person
Saturday
- dates: Saturdays between December 17 and March 25 (except for December 24 and 31, January 28 and March 4)
- time: 6:15 to 8:45 p.m.
- cost: $5 per person
No registration required.

Rules
- a helmet is required
- we recommend using elbow and knee pads
- do not use the skatepark during wet or icy conditions
- take turns
- place all garbage in the containers provided
- inspect the skatepark ahead to ensure safe conditions
We are not responsible for any loss, damage or injuries resulting from use of the skatepark.
Rentals
You can rent the mobile skatepark for events.
- includes:
- delivery of trailer
- set-up of elements and supervision of the program by two staff for three hours
- ramps, quarter pipe, fly-over box, kicker ramps, grind box and grind rails
- loaner helmets, skateboards and scooters
- helmets are mandatory when using the skatepark.
- The Corporation of the City of Kitchener staff persons are solely responsible to transport, set-up, supervise the operations, and take down the Doon Skatium Mobile Skateboard Park.
- for rentals not on city property, the renters must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance (minimum coverage $2 million) including The Corporation of the City of Kitchener an additional insured.
