The Huron Community Centre is home to a gym, two program rooms and a shared entrance with EarlyON Child and Family Centre. The centre is attached to Oak Creek Public School. You can register for affordable classes and activities and other activities.

Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m. to noon

Sunday: closed

Leisure access

Visit our leisure access page to apply for lower registration fees for city-run programs. This does not include programs run by neighbourhood associations or our partners. Check with community centre staff for fee assistance options.

Huron Community Centre does not have open gym time or workout equipment. Join one of our programs to get active.


These washrooms are available at Huron Community Centre:

  • 12 gender-neutral washrooms in the lobby
  • three accessible washrooms in the lobby

There are infant and adult sized change tables in some of the washrooms.

Computers and Wi-Fi

Our community centre has two public access computers, and a printer for public use (pay per pages). They are available when the centre is open.

Use your own phone, tablet or computer with our free Wi-Fi. Choose the “Kitchener Public WiFi” network and follow the instructions that show up.
