The Huron Community Centre is home to a gym, two program rooms and a shared entrance with EarlyON Child and Family Centre. The centre is attached to Oak Creek Public School. You can register for affordable classes and activities and other activities.

Free parking is available at the community centre off Tartan Avenue.
Grant River Transit route 33 stops on Huron Road near the community centre.
GRT no longer offers paper bus tickets. Fare payment information is available on their website.

You can book 45 minutes of open gym time for up to 10 people (including yourself). This program is free.

Book a community room
Book a community room to host your next book club or neighbourhood project meeting! Multi-purpose rooms at city facilities can be reserved for free, for up to two hours and as far as 30 days in advance.

Leisure access
Visit our Leisure Access (fee assistance) page to apply for lower program registration fees. This does not include programs run by our partners. Check with community centre staff for fee assistance options.

Washrooms
These washrooms are available at Huron Community Centre:
- 12 gender-neutral washrooms in the lobby
- three accessible washrooms in the lobby
There are infant and adult sized change tables in some of the washrooms.
Computers and Wi-Fi
Our community centre has two public access computers, and a printer for public use (pay per page). They are available when the centre is open.
Use your own phone, tablet or computer with our free Wi-Fi. Choose the “Kitchener Public WiFi” network and follow the instructions that show up.
