Swimming
We have four indoor and four outdoor pools, including Kiwanis Park. Register for a swim time online or by calling your local pool.
Parks and trails

Walking track
The Lyle S. Hallman Foundation Walking Track is located above the KMHA Alumni ice pad at the Activa Sportsplex and is available for community use. The walking track is open daily and is free during walking track hours.
Book free space
You can book free space in a community centre gym or community room.
Breithaupt Centre billiards room
Looking for a place to play pool? Book the Breithaupt Centre billiards room for free! The room is available on weekday afternoons.
Kids and families
Kitchener Market
Bring your kids out to the Kitchener Market to enjoy art, music and cooking classes! Learn about their programs.

Sign up for an ongoing activity group at one of these community centres:

Some popular groups include:

You do not need to register for these programs, but you do need a Kitchener Group Card to join the fun.
Breithaupt Centre billiards room
Looking for a place to play pool? Book the Breithaupt Centre billiards room for free! The room is available on weekday afternoons.
Rockin' it at Rockway
Join us at Rockway Centre on Wednesdays in July and August (no concert on August 30) for Rockin' it at Rockway, an evening of music, food and drinks! We’ll be collecting voluntary donations of $5 per person to support program costs.
Try it for Free week
Between September 11 and 16, join us at select community centres for free demonstrations of seniors (55+) programs. No registration is required, but each class has limited capacity.
