Construction

The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) continues its construction on the Grand River Bridge and Hwy 401. The newly widened 401 West lanes opened in June 2022, bringing the highway closer to the Doon Valley Golf Course property line and affecting holes 1 and 8 of the classic 9-hole course.

In order to invest in a long-term solution, and to ensure the safety of golfers and highway drivers, we've closed and are redesigning these holes. The classic 9-hole course is operating as a 7-hole course with a 25% green fee reduction.

We appreciate your continued patience during the results of MTO construction.

Doon Valley's 18-hole course offers a challenging layout amid expansive natural wetlands. Several holes on this mature course run alongside the Grand River. You may even see an occasional eagle as you attempt to score one of your own. Doon Valley is one of the most popular and affordable courses in southwestern Ontario.
