Parking and transit
Free parking is available off Rittenhouse Road.
Grand River Transit (GRT) route 22 stops on Rittenhouse Road in front of Country Hills Community Centre.
GRT no longer offers paper bus tickets. Fare payment information is available on their website.

Registration for fall 2024 city-run programs at our community centres is open now.

You can book 45 minutes of open gym time for up to 10 people (including yourself). This program is free.

Book a community room
Book a community room to host your next book club or neighbourhood project meeting! Multi-purpose rooms at city facilities can be reserved for free, for up to two hours and as far as 30 days in advance.

Gym
Country Hills Community Centre does not have workout equipment. Join one of our drop-in programs to play basketball, pickleball and more. You can also book a gym.
Outdoor skating rink
During the winter, volunteers build and support an outdoor skating rink at Country Hills Community Centre.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Computers and Wi-Fi
There are two public access computers available at Country Hills Community Centre. It is available when the centre is open.
Use your own phone, tablet or computer with our free Wi-Fi. Choose the “Kitchener Public WiFi” network and follow the instructions that show up.

Rentals
You can rent rooms at Country Hills Community Centre for meetings or events. Room rates are per hour and include HST. Capacities include chairs only. If tables are required, the capacity will be less.
- room one – seating capacity 30 people - $30.77 per hour, including HST
- room two – seating capacity 30 people - $30.77 per hour, including HST
- multipurpose room / gym (double) – seating capacity 350 people - $85.43 per hour, including HST
- half multipurpose room / gym (single) – seating capacity 175 people - $60.03 per hour, including HST
- kitchen (cooking) – capacity 4 people - $32.75 per hour, including HST
Note that when booked after business hours a three hour minimum rental is required and additional staff charges will apply.
Depending on the nature of your event other rental costs can include:

Arena
Country Hills Community Centre is beside Lions Arena. You can rent Lions Arena for corporate meetings, birthday parties and more.
Park
Country Hills Community Centre is connected to Lions Park, offering these outdoor amenities:

Library
Country Hills Community Library is a branch of the Kitchener Public Library. It is in the same building as St. Mary's High School, not connected to the community centre.
