Book a community room to host your next book club or neighbourhood project meeting! Multi-purpose rooms at city facilities can be reserved for free, for up to two hours and as far as 30 days in advance.

Leisure access

Gym

Centreville Chicopee Community Centre does not have open gym time or workout equipment.

Food program

The House of Friendship offers a food program on Wednesdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Family outreach program

The House of Friendship offers a family outreach program at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre. Email Wanda or call 519-498-7815, ext. 256 for more information.


Washrooms

These washrooms are available at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre:

  • one accessible washroom in the lobby
  • men’s and women’s washrooms in the hallway across from the preschool room

All our washrooms have an accessible washroom stall. There is an accessible door button to open the washroom in the lobby.

There are change tables in the accessible and women’s washrooms.

Due to COVID-19, the washrooms are only open to those who are registered for a program.


Computers and Wi-Fi

There is one public access computer available at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre. It is available when the centre is open and you can reserve time online.

Use your own phone, tablet or computer with our free Wi-Fi. Choose the “Kitchener Public WiFi” network and follow the instructions that show up.


Rentals

You can rent rooms at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre for meetings or events. Room rates are per hour and include HST. Capacities include chairs only. If tables are required, the capacity will be less.

  • room one – seating capacity 15 people - $19.96 per hour, including HST
  • room two – Seating capacity 50 people - $28.44 per hour, including HST
  • gym (single) – seating capacity 160 people - $55.49 per hour, including HST

Note that when booked after business hours a three hour minimum rental is required and additional staff charges will apply.
