Parking and transit
Free parking for community centre visitors is available in the community centre parking lot off Morgan Avenue. There is also street parking on Morgan Avenue.
These Grand River Transit (GRT) routes stop near Centreville Chicopee Community Centre:
- route 1 on Fairway Road South
- route 23 on Fairway Road South
- route 27 on Morgan Avenue
- route 206 on King Street East
GRT no longer offers paper bus tickets. Fare payment information is available on their website.

You can book 45 minutes of open gym time for up to 10 people (including yourself). This program is free.

Book a community room to host your next book club or neighbourhood project meeting! Multi-purpose rooms at city facilities can be reserved for free, for up to two hours and as far as 30 days in advance.

Food program
The House of Friendship offers a food program on Wednesdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

- a splashpad that's open during the summer

- an outdoor skating rink that's open during the winter

Gym
Centreville Chicopee Community Centre does not have open gym time or workout equipment.
Washrooms
These washrooms are available at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre:
- one accessible washroom in the lobby
- men’s and women’s washrooms in the hallway across from room three
All our washrooms have an accessible washroom stall. There is an accessible door button to open the washroom in the lobby.
There are change tables in the accessible washrooms.
Computers and Wi-Fi
There are two public access computers available at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre. It is available when the centre is open.
Use your own phone, tablet or computer with our free Wi-Fi. Choose the “Kitchener Public WiFi” network and follow the instructions that show up.

Rentals
You can rent rooms at Centreville Chicopee Community Centre for meetings or events. Room rates are per hour and include HST. Capacities include chairs only. If tables are required, the capacity will be less.
- room one – seating capacity 15 people - $21.58 per hour, including HST
- room two – seating capacity 50 people - $30.77 per hour, including HST
- room three – $30.77 per hour, including HST
- gym (single) – seating capacity 160 people - $60.03 per hour, including HST
Note that when booked after business hours a three hour minimum rental is required and additional staff charges will apply.
Depending on the nature of your event other rental costs can include:
