Find a wedding venue

We have 17 locations where you can hold your wedding or host your reception. Our venues include golf courses, historic buildings, community centres and more. You’re sure to find a beautiful space that fits your taste and budget!

Wedding photo locations

City Hall Rotunda

Address: 200 King Street West

This space is free to use, and you do not need to make a reservation. We recommend that you check with our staff in case there is an event scheduled.

Victoria Park

Address: intersection of Gaukel Street and Joseph Street

A short walk from City Hall, you’ll find the entrance to Victoria Park. Take your photos in the park, gazebo or by the historic clock tower.

This space is free to use, and you do not need to make a reservation. We recommend that you check with our staff in case there is an event scheduled.

Rockway Gardens

Address: 7 Floral Crescent

The Kitchener Horticultural Society tends to Rockway Gardens, a lush space for your wedding or event photos.

You do not need to pay a fee or apply for a permit to take photos here, but donations to the Society are appreciated. Call 519-745-4669 for more information.

Williamsburg Cemetery

Address: 1541 Fischer Hallman Road

Consider the grounds of Williamsburg Cemetery for your wedding ceremony. The Dedication Centre at Williamsburg Cemetery sits next to beautiful gardens and a pond with fountains. This 19th century chapel and surrounding space is perfect for your special day.


Get a marriage licence

Before getting married in Kitchener, you will need to apply for a marriage licence at City Hall. Visit our marriage and divorce page to get started.


Civil ceremonies

If you have a valid marriage licence and officiant, you can get married anywhere in Ontario with the permission of the property owner.

You can check online that your officiant can marry you in Ontario.


Book your wedding

Once you choose your venue and have a date in mind, it’s time to book your wedding.
