    Kitchener, Ontario - A snow event was declared on Thursday, November 27 based on credible weather forecast information. This snow event has now been extended until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1. This helps ensure our plows and snow clearing equipment are able to effectively and efficiently clear snow from roadways across the city.

    Kitchener, Ontario - A snow event was declared on Thursday, November 27 based on credible weather forecast information. The most recent forecast predicts an additional 10-12 cm of snow falling in Kitchener between midnight on Saturday, November 29 and the afternoon of Sunday, November 30. Based on this information, the snow event has now been extended until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 30. This helps ensure our plows and snow clearing equipment are able to effectively and efficiently clear snow from roadways across the city.

We will be hosting a virtual open house from 6 -7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 to ask residents who work, live or visit downtown to discuss the initial recommendations we’ve received, both from the public and our consultant.
