Our public education team is committed to helping our community better understand fire safety.
We offer training on topics that include:
- cooking precautions
- smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
- general safety tips

- our team includes firefighters, fire prevention staff, public educators, administrators, dispatchers and communications personnel and support staff
- we work out of seven fire stations spread out around Kitchener
- we also provide dispatch services of over 13,000 calls per year to the Townships of Woolwich, Wilmot, Wellesley, North Dumfries, and the cities of Waterloo and Cambridge
