Explore the world of Kitchener Fire at our free open house! Bring the whole family, gather your friends, or come out on your own for a day of learning and fun.

location: Kitchener Fire Headquarters, 270 Strasburg Rd.
Bring the whole family and experience fire safety in action with hands-on activities and education, including:
- get up close with fire trucks and specialized equipment
- watch live fire safety demonstrations
- try interactive activities for all ages
- enjoy family-friendly attractions include inflatables, obstacle course, face painting and more
- grab a meal from the Kitchener Lions BBQ or a treat from a food truck
Parking and transit
Kitchener Fire Headquarters is located at 270 Strasburg Road, Kitchener. However you choose to travel, there are options available:
Transit
GRT routes 3, 16 and 205 all stop within walking distance of Kitchener Fire Headquarters.
The closest ION stop is at Mill Station.
Parking
If you're driving, there is lots of free parking available at the Laurentian Power Centre across the street from Kitchener Fire Headquarters. Parking will not be available on-site. Please do not park in the Fireside Restaurant parking lot.
