Notification options

There are 4 options for MyKitchener notifications:

  1. MyKitchener + Email (Daily Summary)
    • you will receive a notification in MyKitchener AND an email will be sent daily with a summary of notifications from all widgets with this notification setting.
  2. (Default) MyKitchener only
    • your notifications will only appear in MyKitchener.
  3. MyKitchener + Email (Immediate)
    • you will receive a notification in MyKitchener AND an email will be sent whenever there is an update/new information added to that widget.
  4. No notifications
    • you will receive no notifications when there are changes in this widget.

Manage your notifications by widget

Follow these steps to change your notifications for each widget:

  1. Click "View more" in a widget
  2. Click on "Settings"
    • Current notification settings for this widget will appear under "Would you like notifications?"
  3. Choose the notification type from the drop-down menu
  4. Click "Save"

You can choose to return to the widget or stay in settings to make changes to more widgets (from the list on the left side of the page).

Unsubscribe or change notification settings for all widgets

Follow these steps to change your notifications for all widgets at once:

  1. Click on the profile icon (top right corner)
  2. Click "Account"
  3. Click "Widget settings & notifications" (top of the account page)
    • Individual widgets are listed along the left side of the page
  4. Click "All notification settings" at the top of the widget list
  5. Choose your preferred notification type from the drop-down menu
  6. Click "Save"
