How to appeal a property standards complaint

1. Fill out the appeal form
When you get a property standards order to comply, the appeal form is included with the order. If you choose to appeal the decision, you must do that before the deadline on the order.
You can also download a copy of the form.
2.Send the appeal to staff
- completed appeal form
- copy of the order
- non-refundable administration fee ($255)
You can file the appeal:
- by registered mail
- in person

You must file the appeal form before 5 p.m. on the final date for appeal. If you send your appeal after the deadline, we will not process your appeal. You will get your fee back in this case.
