Indoor Amenities
Cowan Recreation Centre is a destination for indoor sport, recreation and community. Featuring a FIFA-sized indoor turf field, aquatics centre, quad gymnasium, indoor walking track, cricket practice nets and flexible community spaces, the facility offers year-round experiences for people of all ages and abilities while complementing the outdoor amenities of RBJ Schlegel Park.
Cowan Fieldhouse
The Fieldhouse is a FIFA-sized indoor turf facility designed for sport, recreation, community programming, and special events. The flexible space can be configured as one full-size field, two half fields, or four quarter fields to accommodate multiple activities at the same time.

Quad Gymnasium
Located within the Cowan Recreation Centre, the Quad Gymnasium is a flexible indoor sport and event space designed for recreational, competitive, and community activities. The gymnasium can accommodate multiple sports, tournaments, programs and special events.

Aquatics Centre
Located within the Cowan Recreation Centre, the Aquatics Centre supports recreational swimming, aquatic fitness, lessons, training and competition. Featuring a competition pool and leisure pool, the facility is designed to accommodate a wide range of aquatic programs and community use.

Grow Nation Cricket Nets
The Grow Nation Cricket Nets provide dedicated indoor training space for cricket athletes, teams and programs. Designed for year-round practice and skill development, the space supports both recreational and competitive cricket activities.

Multipurpose Rooms
Located within the Cowan Recreation Centre, the Multipurpose Rooms offer flexible space for meetings, programs, workshops, celebrations, training sessions, and community events. The rooms can be configured to accommodate a variety of group sizes and activities.

Located within the Cowan Recreation Centre, Almadina provides fresh food and beverage options for athletes, visitors, event participants, and spectators. The locally owned Waterloo Region business offers a convenient place to grab a meal, refuel between activities, or gather with friends, family and teammates.
