City of Kitchener payment options during Canada Post strike

Canada Post is on a national strike, effective September 25, 2025. Mail service to and from the City of Kitchener is impacted. Payment due dates for property taxes, utility bills and parking tickets will not change, and customers are responsible for keeping payments up to date.

The City of Kitchener is offering additional bill payment options during the strike, including online, in person and community centre drop-off. Due to the high volume of calls and inquiries, City response times may be longer than usual. We appreciate your patience.
