MyKitchener portal contest
- To enter, qualify and confirm compliance with contest rules and regulations, existing MyKitchener portal users to sign up for the City of Kitchener's refreshed MyKitchener portal as a new user. CONTEST CLOSES: February 20, 2025 at 23:59:59 EDT.
- Prize: There will be three (3) $100 gift cards, drawn weekly and a grand prize of one (1) $500 gift card drawn on week four.
- Selection Process. All selections will be made at random from among all eligible entries received by the contest closing date. The draws will be held in Kitchener, Ontario, at noon every Thursday for three weeks starting on January, 31, 2025 and the grand prize will be drawn on February 28, 2025. Selected entrants will be contacted by email. To win, selected entrants must first have completed a verbal declaration confirming compliance with the contest rules and have correctly answered a time-limited, skill-testing mathematical question to be administered by phone at a prearranged time.
- No correspondence will be entered into except with potential winners. All decisions of the City are final. Prizes will be awarded and mailed to, or pickup arranged with, the confirmed winner by the City. All entries become the property of the City. No responsibility will be taken for entries lost, misdirected, or delayed.
- By entering, the winners, if requested, agree to have their names and photographs used without compensation for advertising purposes related to this contest. The winners also agree that their names may be posted on the City’s website or any of its social media accounts.
- The contest is open to all residents of Kitchener. An entrant under the age of majority must have a parent or legal guardian consent to their participation. Proof of identification and parental consent must be provided upon request. If a parent or legal guardian does not provide consent, the entry will be disqualified. The contact information collected by the City with your entry will only be used to award the contest prizes and for purposes related to Paragraph 6. The City will not use this personal information for any other reason and will not otherwise disclose this personal information to any other party unless in accordance with the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
