What is the status of my application?
Only candidates that have been selected for an interview or testing will be contacted.
When will I hear back regarding the outcome of my interview?
We strive to provide feedback within three weeks (15 business days) of an interview. Please note that there may be longer response times due to unforeseen circumstances.
How do I know what job postings are for summer opportunities?
The job title will have “summer employment” indicated. You can do a keyword search on the job board to browse open opportunities.
If I don’t meet the minimum requirements for education and experience, can I still apply?
If there are education and experience equivalencies to the position, they will be indicated under a “skill equivalencies” section in the job posting. Those that meet the minimum requirements will be considered before those that meet the skill equivalencies.
Where do I find high school and post-secondary co-op opportunities?
We offer a co-operative education program for high-school students, in partnership with the Waterloo Region District School Board and the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. Please connect with your school to learn more.
Post-secondary co-operative education opportunities are posted at Conestoga College, the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University. Please connect with your on-campus co-op or career centre to learn more.
Do you have work from home opportunities?
Some positions are eligible to apply to the hybrid work from home program.
If selected for an interview, please discuss the work from home arrangement with the interview panel.
What if I don’t see something on the website that resonates with my skillset?
