Looking to keep active in the New Year? Winter program registration, including city and neighbourhood association programs, swimming lessons and March Break camp, opens Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 8:30 a.m. Kitchener offers programs for all ages and abilities!

Check out the programs in advance

Active Kitchener is your complete guide to all recreation and leisure programs offered by the city and neighbourhood associations that begin in January 2024. The winter issue of Active Kitchener will be delivered to homes across the city this week, and a downloadable PDF will be available on our website, kitchener.ca/ActiveKitchener, on Nov. 30. Subscribe to the page for updates.

Be sure to review the programs that interest you and have the activity code(s) ready for registration on Dec. 5. Register online, in person (at a community centre, pool or city hall), or by calling your neighbourhood community centre or pool. You can preview the winter program offerings on ActiveNet, and add programs to a wish list in advance, and then add to your cart quickly and easily on registration day. If you need help searching for programs online, check out this helpful video. Also, be sure to check your child’s most recent swimming level before registering for swimming lessons.
