Speaker series event explores mental health strategies for entrepreneurs
The City of Kitchener, in collaboration with the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre (WRSBC), hosts a free monthly speaker series called SDG Talks. The series explores the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and how we can create a more socially and environmentally sustainable planet. This year’s theme, Purpose and Profit, focuses on helping businesses embed sustainability into their core operations and strengthen their bottom line while creating meaningful community impact.
Join us for our upcoming talk on Monday, May 25, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the SDG Idea Factory, 2 King St. W., Kitchener.
This interactive session will explore the connections between entrepreneurial mental health, resilience and sustainable entrepreneurship. You will learn how prioritizing well-being can improve clarity, productivity and long-term business outcomes, guided by a knowledgeable group of panelists including:
- Neha Juwale, an award-winning mental health advocate and founder of bookmytherapy, who works to make culturally relevant mental health support more accessible across Ontario.
- Andrea Mondoux, a life coach and bestselling author who helps female founders scale profitable businesses without burnout by leading from self-trust, resilience and alignment.
- Saranyaa Sarvananthan, a registered psychotherapist and founder of Saranyaa.S Psychotherapy & Consulting, who supports founders and clinicians navigating identity, leadership and sustainable entrepreneurship.
- Lindsay Claire Weber, a registered psychotherapist who supports individuals, couples, families, and front-line workers through compassionate, results-driven therapy grounded in lived experience and evidence-based care.
Join us for an afternoon of thoughtful conversation, networking, and light refreshments. All are welcome to attend this free event but registration is recommended.
