Ring in the new year with the City of Kitchener

The holiday season may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the fun stops just yet! We have two ways to celebrate the new year in style in the first two weeks of January. Start by welcoming 2024 with hits from your favourite artists at a free outdoor concert, then gear up for carnival-themed fun at Kitchener City Hall. These free events have something for everyone, so plan a date night, come with friends, bring the whole family, or enjoy the fun solo – there is no better way to kick off the new year in Kitchener!

New Year’s Night of Legends

Ring in the new year with your family, friends and neighbours at Kitchener’s New Year’s Night of Legends! This evening full of free activities will help you rock your way to 2024 with:

• live performances from Spice Girls, Cher, Bee Gees, and Freddie Mercury tribute bands
• outdoor skating in Carl Zehr Square
• free party favours and hot chocolate
• family-friendly ball drop at 9:30 p.m.
• New Year’s ball drop at midnight
