Official City of Kitchener 2022 election results

The City of Kitchener has certified the official election results for the 2022 municipal election. The unofficial tallies for each candidate can be found at kitchener.ca/results. With all polls reported, the successful candidates in Kitchener’s 2022 municipal election are:

• Mayor – Berry Vrbanovic
• Ward 1 – Scott Davey
• Ward 2 – Dave Schnider
• Ward 3 – Jason Deneault
• Ward 4 – Christine Michaud
• Ward 5 – Ayo Owodunni
• Ward 6 – Paul Singh
• Ward 7 – Bil Ioannidis
• Ward 8 – Margaret Johnston
• Ward 9 – Debbie Chapman
• Ward 10 – Aislinn Clancy

The new council will be officially sworn in on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022.

Kitchener voters also marked their ballots to elect the following regional positions:

• Regional councillor – Colleen James
• Regional councillor – Michael Harris
• Regional councillor – Kari Williams
• Regional councillor – Robert Deutschmann

The successful Waterloo Region District School Board trustees are:

• Waterloo Region District School Board – Joanne Weston
• Waterloo Region District School Board – Mike Ramsay
• Waterloo Region District School Board – Meena Waseem

The successful Waterloo Catholic District School Board (Kitchener only) trustees are:

• Waterloo Catholic District School Board – Tracey Weiler
• Waterloo Catholic District School Board – Kathy Doherty-Masters
• Waterloo Catholic District School Board – Wendy Ashby
• Waterloo Catholic District School Board – Renée Kraft

The successful Conseil scolaire Viamonde trustee (Regional of Waterloo, County of Wellington, County of Middlesex, County of Perth and the County of Huron) is David O’Hara.

The successful Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir trustee (Waterloo, Brant, Haldimand-Norfolk) is Dorothée Petit-Pas.
