Mayor’s Advisory Council for Kitchener Seniors (MACKS) is seeking volunteers 55+

The City of Kitchener is seeking volunteers ages 55 and older to lend their unique voices and views to the Mayor’s Advisory Council for Kitchener Seniors (MACKS) starting this September. MACKS members advise staff and Council on municipal issues impacting older adults in Kitchener, provide input and feedback, help identify community priorities, and help make connections for engagement and feedback around age-friendly initiatives in Kitchener.

To apply to be part of the advisory council, you must be:

  • a Kitchener resident
  • 55 years of age or older
  • available to attend monthly meetings (from September 2024 to June 2025)
  • able to contribute 6-8 hours per month to support sub-committee work
  • able to serve a three-year term

Application deadline is Aug. 1, 2024.
