Kitchener to offer free World Series viewing parties across the City

Kitchener, ON – To celebrate the Toronto Blue Jays’ historic return to the World Series, the City of Kitchener is offering free community viewing parties at city facilities.

“Kitchener is a city that celebrates together, and what better time to unite as Canadians than to cheer on our Toronto Blue Jays in their first World Series in 32 years,” said Mayor Berry Vrbanovic. “So many Kitchener residents have said they want to experience the excitement of the games in our amazing facilities alongside their friends and neighbours. Whether you're a lifelong baseball fan or just love the energy of a high-stakes series, this is a wonderful time come together as Canadians and share in the spirit of sport and community. Let’s go Blue Jays!"

Events are free to the public, with opportunities to give back. Our community partner, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, will be on site at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium (The Aud) to collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations from fans who are able to give.
