Kitchener sets the stage for Neighbours Day 2025

Kitchener, Ontario - The City of Kitchener is ready for its annual neighbourhood celebration, Neighbours Day, taking place this Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1 to 6 p.m. Experience free, live music and fun for all ages all afternoon with more than 100 pop-up concerts performed throughout Kitchener.

“Neighbours Day continues to be the ultimate neighbourhood party on porches and streets across the city,” said Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic. “There’s something magical about seeing our community come together and neighbours connecting, while enjoying the talent of local musicians. It is absolutely one of my favourite days to celebrate.”

This year, more than 100 Kitchener residents volunteered to host a pop-up concert as a way to celebrate Neighbours Day in our community. From porches to driveways, front lawns to street parties, residents can revel in the free, live entertainment provided by 50 local musicians, all in the spirit of fostering neighbourhood connections and celebrating the importance of community.
