Kitchener Market to Welcome Shoppers Back with Outdoor Market on Saturday, July 18

The Kitchener Market will be open this Saturday, July 18, for a limited-time outdoor experience in the Breezeway, featuring local farmers, makers and vendors. While the Market building and Food Court will remain closed following this weekend’s fire, we are pleased to welcome the community back to shop and support local.

Visitors can expect many of the familiar vendors that make the Kitchener Market a community favourite, offering fresh produce, packaged foods and unique local products. A full list of participating vendors will be shared once confirmed.

While City of Kitchener staff continue recovery efforts inside the building, we are committed to finding ways to support vendors and maintain this important community tradition wherever possible.

The Market has long been an important community gathering place and a vital support for local farmers, small businesses and entrepreneurs. Now more than ever, our vendors need the community's support. We encourage residents to come out, shop local and show their support for the farmers, makers and entrepreneurs who help make the Kitchener Market such a special place.

We are grateful for the resilience of our vendor community and for the patience, understanding and encouragement shown by residents over the past several days.

We thank our vendors, customers, City staff, emergency responders and the broader community for their continued support as we work toward safely restoring full Market operations.
