Join Kitchener Council to celebrate Oktoberfest at Grillefest!

Kitchener City Council is celebrating Oktoberfest with our annual Grillefest! Join us Friday, Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Gaukel Block, which will be transformed into a bustling Bavarian village as part of the official Oktoberfest celebrations.

Piller’s Fine Foods and Chef D will cook up some traditional sausage for councillors, city staff and volunteers to serve on a fresh bun provided by local bakery, Grainharvest Breadhouse. Piller's sausages are gluten free, and vegetarian sausages will also be available while supplies last. Cold drinks and cookies, provided by Zehrs Stanley Park and Costco, will also be available for a minimum donation of $5.

Dry and canned food donations will be collected to support the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
