Help us shape the future of the Kitchener Market

The Kitchener Market is one of Downtown Kitchener’s iconic spaces and one of the oldest operating markets in Canada. For over 150 years, it has been a gathering place for Kitchener, connecting people and showcasing the bounty of our region all year long. From the weekly farmers’ market to the local flavours in the Food Hall to inspiring classes and workshops, it is a place to connect people, create experiences and build relationships.

As a community space, it is important that the Kitchener Market reflects those who use it. Yesterday, the City of Kitchener launched a survey asking for your feedback on the Kitchener Market. We want to hear from you about how you use the Kitchener Market, what you love about it and how we could improve it to make it an even better asset for our community. Whether you visit the Kitchener Market weekly, occasionally, or have never visited at all, your feedback will help us make the Kitchener Market a thriving multi-use community and market space for everyone in our city.

The survey is open until mid-January 2025. There will also be additional opportunities for you to provide your feedback in-person at the Kitchener Market. To fill out a survey, stay up to date on any upcoming in-person engagement sessions and learn more about our plans for improvements to the Kitchener Market, visit www.EngageWR.ca/KitchenerMarket
