Free holiday fun for children, youth, and families (1)

Looking for something fun to do with the family over the holidays? The City of Kitchener is offering free programs to keep children and youth active and engaged this winter break.

Family Holiday Night (All ages)

Dec. 27 from 6-8 p.m. at Centreville-Chicopee Community Centre

An evening for the entire family to enjoy fun-filled games, crafts, and holiday treats. Free event. No registration required.

Holiday Art & Trivia (Ages 11-15)

Dec. 27, 28, 29 from 6-8 p.m. at Bridgeport Community Centre

Join us for three evenings of art focused on imagination and creativity followed by socializing with other teens with fun trivia. Free event. Registration is required.

Queensmount Late Skate Year End Celebration (Ages 8+)

Dec. 30 from 6:30–11:30 p.m. at Queensmount Arena

Helmets are mandatory. Free event. No registration required.

Holiday Youth Drop-In (Ages 12-17)

A holiday drop-in program for youth to hang out in a supported space with youth drop-in staff featuring themed games and activities. Free event. No registration required.

Jan. 2,3,4 from 2:45–5 p.m. at Forest Heights Community Centre

Jan. 2 from 6-8 p.m. at Kingsdale Community Centre

Jan. 3 from 6-8 p.m. at Chandler Mowat Community Centre

Free Community Skates (All ages)

Join us for free outdoor skating at Carl Zehr Square daily from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Or enjoy one of several free community skates at The Aud and community arenas, courtesy of Josslin Insurance. Free event. No registration required. Visit www.TheAud.ca for arena locations and times.
