Free live concerts begin at 4 p.m. in Carl Zehr Square. Juno Award-winners Sloan headline the event playing favourites like "The Rest of My Life” and “Money City Maniacs.” Supporting acts include Terra Lightfoot, a Tragically Hip tribute by Grace 2 and local country musician Rebekah Stevens.
The evening ends with a dazzling pyrotechnic display at 10:30 p.m. that will light up the skies with light, colour and sound.
With local food trucks will serving fresh Ontario flavours and a licensed bar area, you’ll be able to sing, dance and play the entire day away.
Our Canada Day celebration was made possible through the support of the Downtown Kitchener BIA, CTV Kitchener and funding support from the Government of Canada through their Celebrate Canada grant.
