East Coast Kitchen Party and Canada Day bring two days of back-to-back fun to downtown Kitchener
The City of Kitchener is inviting residents and visitors to kick off summer with two vibrant, back-to-back events in downtown Kitchener: the brand-new East Coast Kitchen Party on June 30 and Canada Day celebrations on July 1.
Taking place in Carl Zehr Square and along King Street, these events promise two days of live entertainment, great food, and family-friendly fun that showcase the spirit of the community.
A taste of the East Coast comes to Kitchener
The festivities begin on Tuesday, June 30, from 5 to 10 p.m. with the East Coast Kitchen Party — a lively kick-off to Canada Day inspired by the traditions of Atlantic Canada.
Sample the flavours of the Maritimes with fresh seafood from Caudle’s Catch, or pick up a cold drink from the beer garden.
Foot-stompin' East Coast music will fill downtown from three stages, featuring folk music from performers like Shane Cook & the Woodchippers and Fiddlestix. You may even learn to jig!
The event is free to attend with food available for purchase. Learn more at Kitchener.ca/EastCoastKitchen
