Crow Shield Lodge builds community connections with support from the RISE Fund

Rooted in the Seven Grandfather Teachings - Respect, Truth, Wisdom, Honesty, Humility, Courage, and Love - Crow Shield Lodge is creating space for healing, learning, and connection through Indigenous land-based education. The organization envisions a future where Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples live together in unity, equality, and mutual understanding.

With support from the City of Kitchener’s Racialized and Indigenous Supports for Equity (RISE) Fund, Crow Shield Lodge has expanded its mentorship and outreach programs, deepening its impact across the region. Over the years, the RISE Fund has provided funding to help Crow Shield Lodge grow its capacity and continue offering transformative experiences rooted in Indigenous knowledge and land stewardship.
