City of Kitchener presents LoveMyHood Grant Writing Workshops

Do you have a great idea for a neighbourhood project that will help bring people together? Did you know there is a grant to help you make your vision a reality?

The City of Kitchener’s LoveMyHood Matching Grant supports new resident-led projects and neighbourhood initiatives across the city. Residents take the lead, and the City supports them along the way. That’s the vision behind LoveMyHood, Kitchener’s approach to making great neighbourhoods.

If you are interested in applying for a grant but don't know where to start or just want to learn more about the LoveMyHood Matching Grant, attend one of three upcoming grant writing workshops.

Free grant writing workshops (no registration required)

The LoveMyHood team will guide you through the grant writing process, share essential information and best practices, review budget requirements and help you navigate any obstacles to support your neighbourhood project.

The deadline to submit a grant application for this year’s final intake period is Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Visit LoveMyHood.ca/LMHGrant for more information or to learn about the types of projects that have been supported in the past, to ask questions or to start the application process.
