City of Kitchener celebrates 2nd annual Every Kid Counts Day
Kitchener is gearing up for a day of community celebration and support for our second annualEvery Kid Counts Day. Join us on Saturday, May 3 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Grand River Recreation Complex (600 Heritage Drive) for an afternoon of indoor and outdoor activities includinglive music, swimming,and family fun.
Enjoy a free concert by Erick Traplin, as well as outdoor games and crafts. Public swims at all City of Kitchener indoor pools, face painting, snacks and beverages are available for $2 each. Proceeds from this event will directly benefit our Every Kid Counts program ensuring that children and youth with disabilities in Kitchener can participate in enriching summer camp experiences.
