City facility closures and hours for the Easter long weekend

Most city facilities have modified hours over the Easter long weekend.

City Hall

Kitchener City Hall will be closed from Friday, April 7, to Monday, April 10. Services normally offered in person will be available again on Tuesday, April 11, at 8:30 a.m.

Kitchener Market

The Food Hall will be closed during regular hours on Friday, April 7, and the Kitchener Market will host a Good Friday Fish Fry dinner on Friday evening. Learn more and register: kitchenermarket.ca/fishfry

The Kitchener Market is open for the Saturday farmers’ market and Easter programming on Saturday, April 8. Learn more: kitchenermarket.ca/calendar

The Kitchener Market is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Kitchener Public Library

All Kitchener Public Library locations are closed on Friday, April 8, Sunday, April 9, and Monday, April 10.

Kitchener Golf

Doon Valley and Rockway Golf Courses will open for the season in April, weather permitting. Subscribe to kitchenergolf.ca or the Kitchener Golf newsletter, GolfNews, to get an email when we share an opening date.

Pools

All pools are closed on Friday, April 7, Sunday, April 9 and Monday, April 10.

Community centres

All community centres are closed on Friday, April 7 and Sunday, April 9.

Most centres are open on Monday, April 10:

• Centreville-Chicopee: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Chandler Mowat: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Country Hills: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Doon Pioneer Park: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Downtown: 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Forest Heights: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Huron: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Kingsdale: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Mill Courtland: 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
• Rockway: 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Stanley Park: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Victoria Hills: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Some centres are closed on Monday, April 10:

• Bridgeport
• Williamsburg

The Aud and Arenas

The Activa Sportsplex, including the Lyle S. Hallman walking track, will be open from Thursday, April 6, to Monday, April 10, 2022.

All other community arenas are open for scheduled rentals only.

The box office at The Aud will be closed Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10. All tickets are available online at www.theaud.ca.
