Cameron Heights Pool re-opens with added programming

The year-long renovations are now complete, and Cameron Heights Pool is fully open just in time for summer fun with the return of public swims, lane swims and swimming lessons.

A much-needed façade update includes a new, accessible entrance to Cameron Heights Pool that is distinctly separate from Cameron Heights Collegiate. Visitors no longer need to go through the school to access the pool.

Cameron Heights Pool is officially open for the summer with a variety of registered programs, swimming lessons, public swims, lane swims and rentals. The pool is open seven days a week. Visit Kitchener.ca/pools for facility hours.

Public Swims (Summer)

Monday - Friday: 1 to 2:30 p.m. 
Saturday & Sunday: 2 to 3:30 p.m.; 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Lane Swims (Summer)

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 5 to 6 p.m. 
Saturday & Sunday: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

There is still time to sign up for summer swimming lessons, with spots available on Wednesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Visit ActiveNet to find a time and lesson that suits your schedule at Kitchener.ca/swimminglessons.

A summer splash pass will give you regular access all summer long. Passes are still available to purchase by visiting Kitchener.ca/SplashPass.
