Vintage cars and classic tunes to take over downtown Kitchener for Cruising on King
Kitchener, rev your engines – Cruising on King is back for another year! This Friday, June 26, King Street from Frederick Street to Water Street will fill with hundreds of classic cars from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Featuring an impressive lineup of vintage vehicles, from hot rods to celebrity cars and more, residents and visitors will have the chance to take a trip back in time and explore automotive history up close.
More than just a car show, this free, family-friendly street festival will also feature:
- Live entertainment on an open-air stage, including tribute performances to Tina Turner and Neil Diamond
- A fun event bingo activity to help cruisers discover everything along King Street
- A variety of food trucks and downtown patios offering delicious dining options
- A licensed bar area serving up refreshing drinks to help beat the heat
The festival can be easily accessed by transit, bike or car. Parking is available in garages and surface lots throughout downtown Kitchener.
