Unofficial City of Kitchener 2022 election results
Polls have closed for the 2022 municipal election, and the City of Kitchener has tabulated its unofficial results. The results below are provisional and will be confirmed in the coming days by the city clerk. The unofficial tallies for each candidate can be found at kitchener.ca/results. With all polls reported, the successful candidates in Kitchener’s 2022 municipal election are:
- Mayor – Berry Vrbanovic
- Ward 1 – Scott Davey
- Ward 2 – Dave Schnider
- Ward 3 – Jason Deneault
- Ward 4 – Christine Michaud
- Ward 5 – Ayo Owodunni
- Ward 6 – Paul Singh
- Ward 7 – Bil Ioannidis
- Ward 8 – Margaret Johnston
- Ward 9 – Debbie Chapman
- Ward 10 – Aislinn Clancy
The new council will be officially sworn in on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022.
Kitchener voters also marked their ballots to elect the following regional positions:
- Regional councillor – Colleen James
- Regional councillor – Michael Harris
- Regional councillor – Kari Williams
- Regional councillor – Robert Deutschmann

The successful Waterloo Region District School Board trustees are:
- Waterloo Region District School Board – Joanne Weston
- Waterloo Region District School Board – Mike Ramsay
- Waterloo Region District School Board – Meena Waseem
- Waterloo Region District School Board – Maedith Radlein
The successful Waterloo Catholic District School Board (Kitchener only) trustees are:
- Waterloo Catholic District School Board – Tracey Weiler
- Waterloo Catholic District School Board – Kathy Doherty-Masters
- Waterloo Catholic District School Board – Wendy Ashby
- Waterloo Catholic District School Board – Renée Kraft
The successful Conseil scolaire Viamonde trustee will be reported on the City of London’s election results website.
The successful Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir trustee will be available when final certified results are posted at www.kitchener.ca/results.
Once all the election results have been certified, the City of Kitchener will announce its official results and post them to www.kitchener.ca/results.
This year’s voter turnout is estimated at approximately 20 per cent.
