Some city facilities closed for Labour Day
Kitchener City Hall will be closed on Monday, Sept. 7 for the Labour Day holiday. Services offered by appointment will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 8:30 a.m.
Kitchener Market
The Kitchener Market will be open Saturday, Sept. 4 from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. and will be closed as usual on Sunday, Sept. 5 and Monday, Sept. 6.
KitchenerPublic Library
All Kitchener Public Library locations will be closed on Sunday, Sept. 5 and Monday, Sept. 6. For more information, visit KPL's website.
Pools and splashpads
Kiwanis Pool and Harry Class Community Pool will be open on Monday, Sept 6. Full program details can be found at www.kitchener.ca/pools. Participants are required to register for programming in advance on ActiveNet. All other Kitchener pools will be closed on Monday Sept 6.
Outdoor pools have begun closing for the season. Idlewood closed on Aug. 30. Wilson will close Sept. 6 and Harry Class closes Sept. 7. The pool at Kiwanis will remail open Sept. 7-10 for twilight swim times only, before closing for the season.
City splash pads will be open throughout the weekend including on Labour Day. For more information, www.kitchener.ca/splashpads.
Community centres
All community centres will be closed Monday, Sept. 6.
Arenas
Activa Arena will be open at 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 6 for scheduled rentals.
Budd Park
Budd Park indoor field is currently closed.
