Rockin’ it at Rockway returns to the Rockway Centre patio
Summer evenings are about to get a whole lot livelier as Rockin’ it at Rockway returns - bringing music, energy and feel-good vibes - to the Rockway Centre patio.
Join the City of Kitchener every other Wednesday for a relaxed, music-filled evening featuring talented local performers. While the series is part of Rockway Centre’s programming for older adults, everyone is welcome—so bring a friend, bring a neighbour, and enjoy the show.
From June 24 through August 5, the patio will transform into an open-air stage from 6 to 8 p.m., where you can sit back, tap your toes or even dance along to the music. The show goes on rain or shine; in the event of rain, the concert will move indoors.
Taking the stage this summer are:
-
June 24 – Kevin Coates and The Interesting People
-
July 8 – Michael Kelly Cavan
-
July 22 – Turk & The Hobbits
-
August 5 – Twas Now
A suggested $5 donation helps keep this popular program going strong year after year.
With free parking and convenient transit access, it’s easy to drop by and make it part of your summer entertainment. So grab your lawn chair, settle in, and get ready to rock your Wednesday nights.
