Ontario Summer Games - Weather Related Schedule Updates for Outdoor Sports - August 1 & 2

Due to the forecasted weather system expected to affect the Waterloo Region on Sunday, August 2, competition schedules for the Ontario Summer Games have been proactively adjusted for several outdoor sports to help ensure events can be completed as planned.

Schedule changes have been made to:

• Women's Softball - Budd Park, Kitchener

• Men's Softball - Peter Hallman Ball Yard, Kitchener

• Women’s Baseball - Breithaupt Park / Rim Park, Kitchener

• Men’s Baseball - Bechtel Park / Jack Couch Park / Lions Park, Kitchener

• Archery - Fountain Street Soccer Complex, Cambridge

• Field Lacrosse - WLU Alumni Field, Waterloo

Participants, coaches, and spectators are encouraged to review the updated schedules on the respective sport pages for full details on the Games website. Please continue to monitor the Games website for the latest updates and any further schedule changes.

In collaboration with the Ontario Ministry of Sport and Provincial Sport Organizations, organizers worked to minimize disruptions and support a successful competition experience. Supporting operational adjustments have already been made, including volunteer assignments, medical coverage, transportation, meal services, accommodations, and medal ceremonies.
