Kitchener Fire Department: Major incident report – Saturday, September 27, 2025
15 Green Valley Drive
On Saturday morning, Kitchener Fire crews responded to a call at a two-storey townhouse on Green Valley Drive. The residents were alerted by their working smoke alarms and called 9-1-1, reporting a fire in the kitchen stove area. No foul play is suspected. The fire was quickly contained to the first floor and front exterior, with damages estimated at $300,000.
Two children and one adult are being assessed for smoke inhalation. The Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) has been notified.
There are no structural concerns with the property at this time.
