Kitchener Fire Department: Major incident report – June 4, 2026
Fire crews were called to Tudor Street at 11:10 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026, due to a significant structure fire affecting multiple townhomes. Seven trucks were dispatched.
All residents are accounted for and there are no reported injuries to occupants. Residents from all units will be displaced, and arrangements are underway to secure temporary housing.
The townhouse block has sustained extensive structural damage, with repair and rebuild costs expected to exceed $1 million.
The Ontario Fire Marshal has been notified. The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time.
