Kitchener Fire Department: Major incident report – December 25, 2025
Early this morning, Kitchener Fire crews responded to a detached garage fire on Dumfries Avenue.
The fire was contained to the detached garage and did not spread to the house on the property. Four trucks responded and quickly extinguished the fire. There are no civilian or firefighter injuries. There are structural damage concerns to the roof of the detached garage.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
