King StrEATery Food Truck Festival highlights 50 local businesses in Downtown Kitchener this Sunday

Kitchener is celebrating local businesses, entrepreneurs and artisans with the re-launch of Downtown Kitchener's popular King StrEATery Food Truck Festival this Sunday, September 27 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on King Street East (from Eby to Cedar Street), at the Kitchener Market piazza and many east end businesses. 

King StrEATery, a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly celebration, will bring together 50 participating local businesses, including 15 food trucks, as well as food vendors, east end shops and cafes, and a Love Local Artisan Market for a day of food, shopping and community in the heart of downtown. 

Browse one-of-a-kind goods at the Love Local Artisan Market featuring more than 15 local entrepreneurs and artisans and explore the shops and businesses of Kitchener’s east end. 

Along with great food and shopping, visitors can enjoy Drew Ripley’s Big Balloon Show, buskers, giant games, free dance lessons (K-Pop, salsa and line dancing with TenC Dance Co.) and relax in the licensed outdoor bar area.  

Admission is free, and free Sunday parking is available, including at the Kitchener Market parking garage. Visitors are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
