Do you have a great idea for a neighbourhood project that will help bring people together? Did you know there is a grant to help you make your vision a reality?
The City of Kitchener’s LoveMyHood Matching Grant supports new resident-led projects and neighbourhood initiatives across the city. Residents take the lead, and the City supports them along the way. That’s the vision behind LoveMyHood, Kitchener’s approach to making great neighbourhoods.
If you are interested in applying for a grant but don't know where to start or just want to learn more about the LoveMyHood Matching Grant, come to a free grant writing workshops.
The LoveMyHood team will guide you through the grant writing process, share essential information and best practices, review budget requirements and help you navigate any obstacles to support your neighbourhood project.
There are three opportunities to apply for a LoveMyHood Matching Grant each year. Here are the 2026 application deadlines:
